Tractor auxiliary power strip is the best way to hook-up your monitors as well as any other accessory using a locking 3 prong connector.
The Jensen JHDPS1 is no longer available. Discontinued a few years back. Farm Radio Supply sold several of these power strips. Even now hardly a week goes by without a customer still trying to purchase this item. We asked the manufacturer if they would ever bring it back, but it doesn't appear so. If you have followed our sites over the last 15 years or so, we have tried to stock the products that our customers want. So here we go. If you can't buy it, make it. So we did. This is not our first attempt at designing and manufacturing new products. Look at one of our other in-house products, fastRADIO. The response has been fantastic. In this case, we weren't trying to invent the wheel; we just wanted to bring it back and see if we could improve it and make it available again Here is our updated version of the Jensen power strip. We call it POWERplus. Designed and built in-house. So let's take a look at this unique item.
The outlet connectors used on our POWERplus power strip mate to the 3 pin A-RE37651 Auxiliary Power Cord. The default configuration for the POWERplus is pictured here. The unique feature of our POWERplus strip is that we allow the end user to configure the polarity of these three prongs individually just by plugging and unplugging the connectors inside the housing.
Hooking up auxiliary equipment just got easy on your farm tractor. Works on the new John Deere, Case IH and New Holland models as well as any tractor that uses the 3 prong locking connector.
Measuring 9 3/4 x 3in wide x 2 3/4in tall, smaller than the original for sure, but packed with more power for your convenience. Keeping in line with the Jensen version, we have a similar configuration of 3 three-prong outlets, one lighter outlet, and a USB charger featuring three charging ports. Unlike the Jensen version our is rated at 20amp combined rating. Designed to work in Ag equipment or any equipment where the use of this style of connector could benefit.
Differences are not all visible. Remove the ABS hood from the POWERplus auxiliary power strip to find a way to change the polarity of the 3-prong outlet. Each one allows you to pin a prong for Ignition, battery, or ground. Moving the pins around will enable the power strip to work with more applications.
Another feature added is the two momentary push buttons. One light turns red, and the other turns yellow when pressed, indicating that 12 volts is present, which ensures your power strip is powered up. This will save you at least one step when troubleshooting a device or connection. By pressing the switch, you can see if there is current present on the circuit. Red for ignition, yellow for battery. NOTE: The polarity will change if the default polarity is altered at the prongs.
